The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of the button. When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than a vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves along.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something requires attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills.
