The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.
Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.
This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can remove pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price cost.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves forward.
What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something requires attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that black friday robot vacuum deals has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
